What we run

One team, two hard problems

Borrowing money and sitting a competitive exam have more in common than they look. Both are high-stakes, once-in-a-while decisions where people are routinely handed confident-looking software that hides the thing they actually needed to know. We build the opposite.

Live

A comparison and referral platform — not a lender. We never issue loans, never disburse money and never collect repayments. We match you against each partner's real income, age, employment and credit rules, then hand you to the lender you choose.

  • Shorter lists on purpose. Three offers you can get beat thirty you cannot.
  • Real EMI, not a headline rate. Every card shows the instalment for your amount and tenure.
  • We say how we get paid. Partner referral fees, capped at 5 points of 100 in ranking.

Most practice platforms teach content in an interface that looks nothing like the exam. Then candidates lose marks to the interface. We build the interface first — a faithful replica of the delivery software — and hang the content on it.

  • Faithful to the delivery platform. Palette shapes, timer behaviour, on-screen calculator, keyboard rules.
  • Graded like the board grades. MCQ, MSQ and numerical-answer types with their real marking rules.
  • Analytics that name the next action. Not a score — a list of what to fix, in order.

A shorter list is the whole product

Most comparison sites list every lender they can and let you discover afterwards that you were never eligible. That produces long, flattering result pages and a lot of rejected applications. Loan24x7 runs the eligibility rules first.

How the Loan24x7 matching funnel works Ten lending partners enter a filter that applies income, age, employment, credit-band and affordability rules, and only the offers a borrower actually qualifies for come out the other side, each with its EMI calculated. Partner names are illustrative. The rules, ranges and tenures on Loan24x7 are transcribed from signed partner agreements and dated on each partner page.

Every rupee on screen is computed

The same reducing-balance formula our offer engine uses, running right here. Move the sliders — nothing is rounded up in our favour, because there is no favour to round toward.

Comparing here involves no credit check, so it leaves no mark on your credit report.

How the ranking is weighted. Partners pay us when a referral becomes a loan — that is the only way the service stays free for borrowers. The commercial weighting is capped at 5 points out of 100, so a better-fitting offer always outranks a better-paying one.

The interface should never be the thing that costs you marks

Candidates spend a year on the syllabus and three hours on software they have never used. Marks leak to unfamiliar navigation, a calculator laid out differently, a numeric keypad that rejects the input they expected. We build the rehearsal that removes that variable.

  • Status shapes, not just colours. Answered, not answered, marked for review and answered-and-marked each carry the exact geometry a candidate will see on the day.
  • The on-screen scientific calculator. Same key layout, same degree/radian handling, same memory registers — practised until it is muscle memory.
  • Numerical answers behave correctly. On-screen numpad only, physical keyboard disabled, answers graded against a tolerance range rather than a single string.
  • Mathematics that renders properly. Typeset equations, matrices and transfer functions — plus circuit diagrams that stay legible on a phone.
  • A dropped connection costs nothing. Responses are held locally and re-synced, because a patchy network should not end an attempt.

What each action does to your answer

Candidates lose real marks to this state machine every year — usually by assuming “marked for review” also saves the answer. In our engine it behaves exactly as it does in the hall, so the lesson is learned in practice instead of in the exam.

Answer state machine Five outcomes: no action leaves a question not answered and unevaluated; save and next marks it answered and evaluated; mark for review without an answer is not evaluated; answering then marking for review is evaluated; clearing a response removes it from evaluation. Beyond one exam

Built as an engine, not as a course

The first exam we are modelling is India's GATE, in Electrical and in Electronics & Communication. But almost nothing in the engine is specific to it. An exam is a delivery interface, a question grammar, a marking scheme and a clock — describe those four things and the same platform can rehearse a different exam in a different country.

  • NOWGATE EE & ECE — IndiaFull-length and subject-wise, on the exact delivery interface
  • NEXTAdjacent Indian engineering examsSame interface family, different syllabus and marking
  • DESIGNInternational standardised testsInterface, question grammar, marking and clock are all configuration

We would rather ship one exam candidates trust completely than ten they half-trust. Timelines follow quality, not the other way round.

One engine, many exams A wireframe globe with markers, ringed by the four things that define any exam: delivery interface, question grammar, marking scheme and clock. India GATE EE · ECE Delivery interface Question grammar Marking scheme The clock
Configure those four and the engine rehearses a new exam — that is the design goal, and the reason we are building an engine rather than a course.
Why both, from one team

The hard parts are the same parts

A loan comparison and a three-hour exam look nothing alike from the outside. Underneath, they are the same engineering problem: get a stateful, high-stakes session through a mid-range Android on a bad connection without losing anything or lying to anyone.

Shared platform foundations Two products, Loan24x7 and the Exam Engine, sit on a shared foundation of resilient session state, rules engines, mobile-first delivery, and auditable content pipelines. Loan24x7 Eligibility matching · offer ranking · lender hand-off Exam Engine Test delivery · grading · performance analytics SHARED FOUNDATION Durable session state Progress survives a dropped signal, a refresh or a dead battery — in both products. Rules engines Lender eligibility and exam marking are the same shape: declared rules, pinned by tests. Mobile-first delivery Designed for a mid-range Android on a patchy network, not a designer's laptop. Auditable content Partner terms and exam questions both pass a review desk before they go live.

How anything gets published

Whether it is a lender's interest range or a numerical-answer tolerance, nothing reaches a user on one person's say-so.

Sourced, not invented

Every figure traces to a primary source: a signed partner agreement, a regulator's circular, or an official question paper. If we cannot cite it, we do not publish it.

Drafted with the maths intact

Authors work in a purpose-built desk with live equation rendering, so a transcription error in a formula is visible before it is submitted.

Reviewed against the source

A second specialist audits the draft side by side with the original — approve and publish, or return it with specific notes.

Corrected in the open

Users can flag an error from inside the product. It lands on a resolution desk, gets fixed, and the change is dated where the figure appears.

How we work

Four rules we do not trade away

These are not values on a wall. Each one has cost us a feature that would have converted better.

01

We do not invent numbers

No student counts we cannot evidence, no ratings we did not receive, no partner terms we have not been given in writing. Where a figure is not yet ours to state, we say so instead of filling the gap.

02

We disclose the commercial interest

Loan24x7 is paid by lending partners on completed referrals, capped at 5 points out of 100 in ranking, with the method published. You should never have to guess why an option appears first.

03

No dark patterns, in either product

No fake live counters, no countdown timers manufacturing urgency, no pre-ticked consent, no invented scarcity. The only clock that runs on our software is the one in a mock exam, and that one is the point.

04

We collect as little as we can

We never ask for an Aadhaar number, a password or an OTP. Documents you choose to upload are deleted on a schedule, and you can ask us to erase everything at any time.

Questions

The things people ask first

If your question is not here, write to us — a person answers.

What is the relationship between NayakEdu and Loan24x7?
Loan24x7 is one of two products built by NayakEdu, and it runs at loan24x7.nayakedu.com. NayakEdu is the group that builds and operates it; the other product is our examination platform. Same team, same engineering standards, two very different user problems.
Does NayakEdu lend money?
No. Neither NayakEdu nor Loan24x7 is a lender. Loan24x7 is a comparison and referral platform: it shows offers from banks and NBFCs regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and hands you to the lender you choose. That lender assesses you, sets your rate, makes the final decision and pays out the money. We never lend, never disburse and never collect repayments.
Is the exam platform available yet?
Not yet. It is in active development and we are not going to pretend otherwise with a link that goes nowhere. If you want to be told when it opens — as a candidate, an institution or a subject specialist — leave your details on the contact page and we will write to you once, when there is something real to try.
Which exams will the platform cover?
We are modelling India's GATE first, in Electrical Engineering and in Electronics & Communication Engineering, because that is where our subject depth is. The engine itself is built around four configurable pieces — delivery interface, question grammar, marking scheme and clock — so extending it to other exams is a matter of describing those, not rewriting the platform.
How does NayakEdu make money?
Today, from Loan24x7: a lending partner pays a referral fee when someone we referred takes a loan. Borrowers pay us nothing, ever. The exam platform is expected to run on a free tier with paid full-length series, and we will publish exactly what sits behind the paywall before we charge anyone.
Are you hiring, or open to partnerships?
Yes to both, selectively. We are particularly interested in subject specialists who can author and audit questions at exam standard, and in lenders who want distribution that does not send them applications destined to be declined. The contact page routes both.
